Hadley’s May Recommendation

 Horns by Joe Hill

“If you haven’t already guessed, I’m a big horror fan. These days I read around the genres, but I always try to get something scary in every few months or so. The new novel by Joe Hill (Stephen King’s son, for those who are interested) involves supernatural elements in an interesting way. The protagonist, Ig Parrish, is recovering from the murder of his soulmate, and after a particularly rough evening he awakes to discover that horns have grown out of the top of his head. This novel does interesting things with the concept of good and evil characters, and it was a gripping read.”
